Installation guide

SoloManage software can be completed in a few simple clicks, by following our automated installer process. To help with a smooth installation, we've prepared a Quick Start Guide. If you're installing onto a Vista PC, there's an additional guide here.

A guide to changing any configuration settings after installation is also available.

Prerequisites

The three prequisites for SoloManage may already be present on your system, in which case installation should take about 2-3 minutes. If they are absent, they will be installed automatically for you, and the process may take a little longer.

You may find it easier to install the free prerequisties in advance:

• Internet Information Services (IIS) - from your Windows CD
• Microsoft SQL Server Express 2005
• Microsoft .NET Framework 3.0
